Bon Voyage: Disability shouldn't put kink in your travel plans

When I was a student, I boarded a plane with a gentleman and his seeing-eye dog. The plane was full, which meant the dog had to travel in the pet area instead of with his person in the cabin. The dog's distressed barking reverberated through the fuselage for 20 minutes. When the man disembarked the dog was so dizzy with jet lag he almost ran the man into a barrier before I could intervene.
