Bon Voyage: Road trip etiquette

A literal interpretation of the poem "Chess" by Rosario Castellanos describes two fair-minded people who start to play chess, then end up trying to destroy each other; possibly ruining their relationship. There are some very nice people with whom you just shouldn't play board games.

The same could be said about road trips. While itinerary, weather and mechanical problems can ruin a trip, nothing guarantees it like bad chemistry among travelers. There are nice people out there, but with whom you should never take car trips. ...
